Robert Monn Depth Psychotherapy For individuals, couples, and families
How I think about therapy
You’re here because something is not adding up. Maybe you’re tired, or your mind won’t stop. Maybe you don’t feel good the way you used to — about your work, your relationships, yourself.
The parts of you that aren’t being heard don’t go away — they keep speaking through patterns you didn’t choose. We work out most of what life throws at us on our own, one way or another. But there are times when that isn’t enough.
That’s when you need help. Not someone to tell you what to do, or to validate what you already believe. Someone to listen for what you haven’t been able to hear.
I work psychodynamically — I listen for more than what is said. I listen to what is trying to speak but cannot, in the things you do without knowing why, in your dreams, in your creative work.
What feels stuck really can change. Not by becoming someone different, but by coming into closer contact with what’s already there. By becoming more your real, living, and authentic self. What you used to fight, you can begin to hold… and love.
“What you used to fight, you can begin to hold… and love.”— Robert Monn
